Anyone shoot a "Thunderstick Mag" by Jim Reynolds?
«

I am interested in getting a shorter longbow mostly for hunting in a blind with my daughter.... I LOVE my MOAB longbow and am considering the Thunderstick Mag from Thunderstick Archery.
Can anyone give me any pro or cons about this bow? How does it draw/shoot, esp. at the shortest length?
Thanks >>>------>

They are a great shooting bow. Mine has Sassafras limbs. Has a great feel that I really like.

I had one in Osage, great shooter. 60" 56@28. I'm a recurve guy, so I sold it.

I've had both a 58" and 60", and loved'em both, but after shooting Cascade's Brush Hawk at 56", I sold them.
The TS Mag is still a great bow you would like, and I got no pinch or stack with the 58".

My brother in law has one that is 56 inches and it draws and shoots like a longer bow. And it shoots very accurately and right where I look. Just for the record I draw around 29 inches. I'd highly recommend it.

Jeesh!! This is looking pretty much like a 1-sided decision!
Might just have to check with Jim as to what his waiting list looks like... :D

I had one and really liked it.It was just a little to small for my hands. I think your daughter will like it. I had a 58" and drew 26". I could have gotten the 56".

My absolute favorite bow is my 60inch 50# Mag. They are absolutely smooth, quiet, and hard hitting. Havent had any experience with the shorter ones though!

Only short longbow that I ever owned that I wish I had back. If I was in the market for a short bow it would be my first choice, for me the grip was great.
