An old, beater no-name kids bow that I'm teaching my granddaughter to shoot with. I faced the bow with pink camo tape, gave her some arrows with pink feathers and a camo wrap to match the bow, and she doesn't want to put it down.

Schafers, just love the checkered grip and feel of the bows.

My new to me Kwyk Styk has quickly become my "go-to" bow.  Never really thought I would say that about a recurve...

The Orion right hand St. Jude recurve made by Dryad. I can't remember which one is "Hope" and which is "Faith". I think it's "Hope" and what year was it? I believe it might have been 2010. I really enjoyed shooting that recurve

Sax bocote. It's smooth as butter.  Easy choice tho since its the only curve I own.
Let's go to the woods and learn things about life (Penelope, age 4, to me).

My late husband fell in love with his Rocky Miller Predator. Used it successfully on moose, bear and elk. Richard said it was his favorite bow, and he owned many. It is the one bow in Richard's collection I will never part with.

I too have been a long bow shooter the last 3 years, a robertson ravenstyk, but purchased a robertson wolfer this year and now I'm torn as to which bow goes hunting this year,it's a great bow.

My first recurve, a 64 Kodiak.   Man that grip just fits my hand.  However I finally got my first tip, and am in love.

I was just thinking a little more today about my favourite recurve...the truth is it is whichever one I have in my hands at the time...I do not have any that I do not like so no need to pick a favourite...my favoured bow right now is my low budget Howatt Hunter...just decided today that is the bow I will hunt with in about a month when the season opens, mostly because it shoots so well with the arrows I want to try...660 grain arrows out of a 63 pound bow might be a bit more than needed for deer, but they will do the job and with any luck I might be able to fill two mule deer doe tags with one shot

DDave
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

I have been blessed to own quite a few customs in my life, but would have to give the edge to Blacktail.

The Bear Grizzly in all of its glory! I have several from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s. The 60s - 80s model are the style that, to me, exemplifies the perfect recurve.

LOve my new Tuktu EX static, it is a smoker and I shoot it as well as any bow I have owned. My Belcher riser with Hex-6H limbs is right alongside it and I will carry them both this year! Shawn
