Palmer classic,, doesn't matter what selfbow, longbow or recurve I'm shooting if I walk over and pickup the classic its dead nuts every time,,,, and I'm not that big of a palmer fan anymore but man on man the bow so accurate, quiet and forgiving.

I have grown so fond of my Bigriver widow wannbe, I like it better than any other that I own. I hardly shoot the others any more.

From 2007 till March of this year it was my Brack Quest. Now it's my Eaglewing Storm Eagle. 58" and 47@27 with static tips. Man, that thing flings a 1916 legacy downrange impressively. It is also easy for me to shoot well. Really trips my trigger!

My Phoenix Whippenstick without any doubt. Extremely fast, smooth and quiet. She shoots were I look. Not to mention that Ken is great guy which gives an fantastic service!

The smoothest, lowest string angle and no stack@30 recurve I've shot and favorite is Toelke Traditional Archery's 64" Super Static. It has the beautiful lines and small riser of the 50's style recurves. Smooth and fast.
64" Toelke SSLR
64” Toelke Whip SL
68” Toelke Super D
Great Northern Quivers only!

All the best!

Journeyman is hands down the best recurve that I have ever shot. The bow is quick, quiet and accurate. Jared is a top notch fellow as well as is skills as a bowyer are exceptional.

Without a doubt, if I decide to shoot one of my recurves I always reach for my Bruin Huntmaster  first.
Everything has a price - the more we accept, the more the cost
