Now there's an interesting plan.  I'll keep my eyes peeled.  I think the black Jet riser would look pretty sweet with some bocote or coco hycurve limbs in a lighter weight to have on hand.

nineworlds, thanks as usual for all the pix. Man, what a bow. I keep saying I've got to get one. It would be fun to compare the habu to ABS's qarbon nano--

What kind of string are you using Mike?  8 Strand D10?  Also, have you tried just a single silencer at the point in between the two points you picked?  Might could be worth a try?

Jet with bocote - yeah baby!!!

Now that the ABS came down in price I may have to try one. Like the camo version. My problem continues to be that I love pretty wood combo's and these bows - Habu, eagle wing and big foots are just as fast if not faster than the ABS - so why go to all camo bow. ?? But yet I keep looking at them ....

I wish I could try em all.  $ prolly won't allow that, plus I keep acruing "keepers", bows that for one reason or another I just can't picture selling...but that is always relative.

I really want to get my hands on an Eaglewing someday, just because I really want to have at one of Sixby's bows and see what's up and give a comparison to others I've tried.  Steve has a lot of pride/confidence in his artistry and I respect that and want to see what the deal is.  I will say guys, that in the end it should be about the WHOLE package...to me the bow needs to get you on all levels, not just performance.

I still have not shot a slammer TD - he didn't have any at Baltimore.    :dunno:    :dunno:

I'm pretty certain that is one of the strings that I built for Mike. It is an 8 strand Ultra Cam w/padded loops.

I tried several silencer combos on he Habu that I had, and the double wool puffs toned it down the best.

These are fantastic bows....you guys are making me want another one!

I can usually get an order filled within a couple days. I had a couple very busy weeks lately, and I was running about 1 week on orders.

Yep that is your string - works great! Bow is really quiet - in fact it is now the quietest recurve I have ever shot!

Your short turn around time inspired me to just put in an order for a string!!  Wonder if I can get it by week's end?  Haha!  Cool beans.  Look for an order from Chuck D. in Tallahassee.  My 'new to me' Shrew Hill w/ wedges is itching to lose the Dacron.
