Kelly if you ever want to sell that bow let me know. Lightweights like us have to stick together. It's a beauty.
Here are the tips of "Young Eagle". They are incredibly small. I owned some Pete George "Timberlines" and I thought his tips were tiny 'til I saw these. Pete was Schulz-trained, but sadly isn't building bows anymore. You can really see John's influence in the Timberlines.

Isn't it amazing how some bamboo and wood placed in the right hands can become the most simplistic of functional art? Keep those pics coming.

Nice Cougar! I don't see very many of them around...
I have one of John's yew and Myrtle HHA Redman on the way. I hope it survives the mail shipment....

Great looking pair you got two4. Yew is a great limb material. I would say I prefer it just a bit over bamboo. Real close though. Feels a bit smoother to me. Those two look like they were separated at birth. Nice to see them together.

Just managed to acquire this bow. I have been after this model, "The Cheetah" for quite a while now. I'm toying with the idea of having this bow refinished, so long as John's writing can be kept.
It's 66" long, and 60lb @ 27.5"
