Good seeing you again Mudd. Those pictures really captured the whole fun of Mojam.

(Sorry I had to ask you not to yodel outside our tent the other morning due to my wife feeling so sick...)   :(
Paul you owe me no apology for doing "the right thing" by caring for your family.

I was and still am sorry that your poor wife had to go through being sick.

I hope and pray that she is fully recovered.

The heat and humidity can be very hard on a body...anybody, that is well illustrated in the photo of John.

The man(John) was worn down from all of the demos of how the heavy weight artillery bows(war bows) were shot that he so graciously did for us.

Thank you for the kind words!

God bless,Mudd

Thanks Mudd,
We got her electrolytes balanced and she recovered and bounced back after some rest.

John's warbows are really something to see and shoot. That's a great picture of him!

Thanks for your pictures Bob.

They certainly depict what the "MoBoJam" was intended to be from the beginning.

I was so excited to see them for their content and I assumed that it meant you found your camera/Ipad or both.

God bless,Mudd

PS: I have another story to tell but I want to video something for the telling. I am waiting until it cools off a bit so I'm not having to sweat through it. (No it doesn't involve a loin cloth)...lol

mid July every year...this was number 15... always in Marshall. Mo.  Google the history...kinda started as an white wood/ yellow wood war but all in the science of making the best wood bow!  lots of fun and even more friends!
Mudd...hope that sliver bow will work for you...  :)   it is amazing how so little wood can make such a heavy bow...

Mudd

Bob I can not thank you enough for this bow.

I want to make a video of it being shot at around 30 yards.

It has done more than fulfill the desire I had for an elb style bow in a weight range I can shoot a lot.

I allowed it to take me into "Sherwood" today until I was sweating so much I couldn't see.

Thank you again for all that you do, not just for me but the entire traditional archery community at large.

God bless,Mudd

PS: Keep your eyes open, maybe we'll get some heat relief soon.

Nice pics, Bob.  I enjoyed talking to you Mudd.

It was great to spend another long, (but not long enough...) weekend at Mojam.
Hard to believe that there have been 15 of these so far and that folks, new and returning, take the time to come out and brave the heat and humidity each summer to build bows, shoot bows and just hang out and visit with like minded folks..  :wavey:

I concur Paul, regardless of the weather MoJAM is the place to be.

Seeing old friends is a highlight for me. I recall the early years, I worked much and visited little, now I visit much and work little.

I'd list off all the great folks but since I'd forget some, suffice it to say, best folks ever.

The Marshall Bow Hunters are great hosts and every year hit the mark for hard work and cheerful dispositions no matter what the weather throws at them. My hat is off to them, one and all.

Our camp, John and Sal, Bob at work, Caveman IL thanks guys, Next year, same time, same place, Good Lord Willing.

Also this year there were a lot of hackberry bows present it seemed heck two were auctioned off.

Hope to see yall next year.

Oh and remember if you go dont have too much apple pie or peach for that matter.
