I have not had a read that good; that poetic, in quite awhile...

Good story Killie,
As you can see, all is well in the trad-gangers world when you bring light to life with the stories you tell.
Thank you. Bruce

I didn't enjoy it worth a durn - until I took the time to open it and read it that is. Bless your heart, Killie, you deserve those kinds of happenings in the forest for how much happiness you bring to others with them. It was, as usual a jewel box full of gems - to include some of the reader's comments as well. It also made a not so great day, a whole lot better for me - thank you, my friend.

Wow! Thanks for getting this thread back into rotation. Killy captures all that is good about hunting and puts us right there with her.

She is quite the lady with words, and enjoy when she post. Which she hasn't been on a lot lately.

You don't see many posts like that lately, fewer and farther between. Thanks for bringing it back up Terry and thank you Killie for sharing!

Inspires us all to just go out and take a walk in the woods!! Think I'll take my daughter too and try to impress upon her how important it is to just look at what's around you and notice all the "little things". Thanks Killie....truly hope to hear more!! Not enough of these around here these days!!

Always enjoy Killie's musings and this reminds me I haven't heard from Noelle Naiden in a long while. Last I corresponded she was taking a bit of a "hiatus". Anyone heard from her?
