Glad  to hear the Huckleberry explanation. For a second I thought you were gonna shoot it out with Val Kilmer.  I know you will give the bow a full workout and provide the bowyer with a lot of good feedback. Let us all know how things turn out.

It's all good David.

Please accept my apology for my knee jerk reaction.

You are correct in that I didn't see the laughing icon or it didn't register with me.

Thanks everyone for the supportive and kind words.

God bless,Mudd

No problem, Mudd.  Keep showing us the goodies you come across. I always enjoy the delight you get from flinging arrows. May it always continue.

Let me guess..it's got a wenge riser and yew and boo core And it says misty dawn "r" on the limbs?  That's would be the string follow reverse handle that I asked James to build for me and that just got finished.. Sounds like he sent my bow out to you mudd..

Hunt hold,
You bow just got a serious dose of "Mudd Mojo" be careful with that bow because it has now been christened and will take you to Mudds Sherwood Forest.
If you are lucky maybe Mudd will include a Mudds Merrymen hat with it!!!!

James made the first custom bow I ever saw or owned...a Viper... many many years ago... I have been an addict ever since.  Funny thing is I only gave a quiver for it so I let it go for a quiver when I went to a lighter draw.  It was as fine a bow as there was ever made but at 70# I had to let her go.  I will own another one day as they are still a working piece of art.  Keep up the fine work sir!
Mudd...you are a lucky man my friend!

Well I goofed up   :knothead:    that's "not" my bow!!  I guess that would of been unheard of for a bowyer to send someone else's bow out to someone else before sending it to the new owner...my bad..

I believe it is the "Northstar" Mr Melrose.

If it is yours are in for some "shock and awe"!!

This bow is a "Bumblebee" of bows.

"Bumblebees" being built as they are should not be capable of flight and short longbows aren't supposed to be this smooth.

For a light weight bow 42@28 it should not be flinging 564 grain arrows with the speed and authority that this does.

I hope whoever gets it is as impressed with it as I am.

Mudd...my friend...it appears that you have a beautiful left handed , slight reflexed bow...and have strung it backwards...       at least that's what it looks like... except for the stitching...

Before everyone starts calling to order one of these you need to know that this design won't be scheduled to go into production until sometime after the beginning of the year, if at all.

All of the testing and changes(if any be needed) before it can become one that's offered on Mr Berry's web page.

Wow, Mudder, that is a sexy bow right there now.  You are a blessed man to have been asked to " preview "  such a marvelous work of art.  JD is truly a master.  I enjoyed the pics a lot. Good on ya buddy.
