cocobolo oxidization?

Any of you more experienced bowyers know how to speed up the oxidation process on cocobola? I have a sweet 3 pc long bow I just finished sanded and I want to spray Tbird on it ASAP but the cocobola handle is still orange. Should I just spray it now and expect it to oxidize under the Tbird? should I wait and let it acheive the color I want and then spray it? I tried putting it out in the sun but it is about to rain. Any help would be appreciated.

I never heard of anyone wanting cocobolo (or any of the dense, heavy woods) to oxidize more quickly.

When I asked some questions about finishing bows w/ cocobolo, I was told to sand and glue and/or spray as soon as possible for the best finish, and to ensure a good bond before the oils resurface...

Hopefully others will chime in...
