Does anyone here shoot a black widow and how do you like it?  Which do you prefer take down or one piece?  Thanks.

I shoot a pma II take down and I love it. I've shot other bows but for me so far the widow fits. I love the take down, not that I take it down a lot but it does help for travel.

I shoot a 58" kbx and love it!!! I've always been in love with the widow, it fits good in my hand and its a great shooter. I like the looks to, not to mention the widow crew are fabulous. I like the weight of the takedowns over the one piece, even though I rarely take it down. But it is nice for travel

I've shot one for the last 18 years.  I started with a SA II that I shot for 14 yrs,  I've had a PSR, PTF, PCH, and a KB.  Its hard to say wich is my favorite, but I am a Widow guy!!  If you can, stop down to Nixa for a visit, if not, try doing thier test drive option.

Really like the PMA with the Asbell grip. The mass weight of the riser and the longer sight window of the PMA are big plusses in my preference book.

Thanks guys!  I am currently deployed, but when I get home I am gonna give em a call and try the test drive deal they got.  Also are the take downs a little heavier than the one piece?    Once again thanks.

i shoot a 60" PSA w/ asbell grip, i have had a lot of diffrent bows over the past 30 years and this is the best overall bow i have ever owned. I had a identical bow a few years ago, sold it to try something else , sold it and bought another PSA  i think i am done buying recurves for a while...  and BW customer service is second to none..

I have a 60" PSA as well.   I shoot a couple of other bows and enjoy them also but when I pick up my PSA it's like meeting up with an old friend...we pick up right where we left off and don't miss a beat.  They are solid bows with a well earned reputation.

I could never understand the abbreviations so I steered clear of them.

I just picked up a 60" PCH several months ago, and I must say I really like the mass weight of the bow. Shoots really nice and it feels like it's built like a tank. Very good customer service as well.

Take downs are heavier.  I like them for that reason.  I have an SA and a PMA.  The PMA is my "go to" bow.

Hey Deeter , Just love the shootability and beauty of my one piece PTFX`S . I have shoulder problems and this one lb (approx) lighter bow provides enough mass and makes shooting this model a delight .

If you want a tough reliable hunting bow get a widow. They may not be as fancy as some custom bows but as far as hunting equipment goes they are hard to beat. Like everyone said the customer service is unbeatable as well.

Lots and lots of good bows out there, but I shoot and enjoy shooting Widows.  I'm hoping to take an Alaska moose and/or bear this fall with mine!
