Beman Centershot vs Axis Trad?

Is there any difference between these shafts?

The axis traditional come about a half inch longer, only important if you shoot full length as I do.

Thanks, I cut mine a couple inches anyway. The Bemans are not quite so pricey.

The Beman Centershot is a larger diameter (Easton's H Diameter) and takes the HP insert which has a lip on it like a standard insert(not HIT) and they use Easton's H nocks.  The Easton Axis use the HIT insert and the X nock.   The difference in diameter is very slight though.

Beman MFX Classic 500= 9.7 gpi

Easton Axis Trad 500= 8.9 gpi

The Beman Bone  Collector series is nothing but a dressed up MFX.

I shoot the CenterShots and really like them. Full length they were 31 1/2", but I use them at 31" even, so no problem (400 spine).

YES!  I'm going to miss the MFX for sure.  My favorite arrows!  Skinny and heavy, and EASY to tune!!

I am hunting with center shots, cheaper and not a big HIT fan were my main reasons - a nice arrow!  Also comes with the 50/75 brass inserts.

I too am not a fan of the HIT system so I tried the centershot and they are fantastic arrows. I'm cheap though so I stuck with my ICS hunters

Can someone give the actual difference in diameter on these shafts please? I'd like to try the smaller diameter, but am not a big fan of the HIT inserts either. Also, which shaft is easier to find footing for? Thanks.

Don't have measurements, but It is a really small difference between the two and they both use 9/32 points.  The Centershot uses same inserts and nocks as the old ST Epics (maybe same shaft), and is clearly thinner than other arrows like GT Trad, Trad Only, and CX Heritage.

I think the Beman Centershot is 9/32. Plenty thin enough I think.
