NEW SPONSOR - Medicine Bear Archery/Badger Broadheads
« on: July 29, 2013, 05:16:00 PM »
Welcome    :wavey:

 http://www.medicinebear.net/

I met the owners this weekend....the designer of the head is a trad bow hunter and is always shooting 'interesting stuff' with their heads.

Really nice guys and want to get their heads out to TradGuys.

I got three of these heads the other day from a Good Friend up there in Blairsville. They are good looking heads and I plan on killing a deer with them this year. Hope the plan works out.RC

Terry,
I met the owner a few years ago at a shoot. Nice guy(can't remember his name though).
He has put a lot of work into his effort, I wish him well.
Welcome.

We have done some testing of these Badger broadheads and they have performed well for us and some of my customers on hogs. This is the toughest boadhead I have ever shot and they fly like darts.

Stephan is a trad hunter and a solid guy. Give these heads a serious look.

Now there's a design that will spin for sure.  Much more than just having it single bevel.  Holy cow that thing would be like an auger.

Thanks for the support and best of luck to you guys.

I just got a 3- pack to try.I tested them with diff. alum shafts and one carbon and they flew really good. They did corkscrew into my target and are hard to get out without tearing up the target,so hopeing they will do the same in a deer or hog..I like them and will be using them come Oct.Kip

Yeah, Oregon says that without the back edge not being 90 deg to the shaft they are "barbed". Nice looking and seems like a good idea.

I watched the video and was impressed by how it went through that p.v.c. pipe and the way it split it on the outcoming side...Imagine what it will do if it hit bone! Welcome I'm sure there will be a market for these...

It was described to me by a guy who killed a nice hog with one - "It was as if an auger had been run through it" as he was explaining the spin.

I've shot some of these heads at targets. No doubt they will be devastating on animals, but they fly better than anything I've ever shot. Truly field point accuracy.
