I just moved in from the dark side. Last week I picked up a Whispersitck and now I'm hooked on trad.
Been shooting compounds for 20 years and all it took was 6 arrows to step into the light.
My wife will not be pleased....lol

Welcome from Texas! Let's not call it the "Dark Side". It's more like the "Whole lot of technology and not much fun side". Lol You did come to the right place, these guys are great.

I am going to have a lot of questions. I ordered some books on trad. I would hate to develope bad habits. The form side I can get through but I am sure I will need some advise on arrows and spine.
Thank you folks

Welcome aboard. There is no better place for a new trad archer, so when you have questions, ask them, and smarter guys than myself will answer them!

You figured out rather quickly that your wife will probably not be pleased.
Don't get hooked on the desire to try them all. It can REALLY aggravate the problem :D

My wife has been going balistic for years. I have a bad habit of buying bows on a whim. Now she saw my trad bow and says " If you want another one you will have to sell off some of your other bows "....lol
I have a couple Hoyts, Mathews and an Elite I will be selling.
Archery is some kind of sickness that takes over your soul as my wife puts it.
I usualy reply, it's either archery or fast women, which do you prefer hun.
