Hey Robert--saw this thread, checked my pm's, and replied--sorry about that.

Actually I have a "job" on another site, but I haven't posted much there lately either.

Come on Van.  It's Chad you're talking about.  LOL LOL Sorry Chad.  You didn't get to throw me off the cliff this year at Cloverdale and I just felt unloved.  :^)

I'd tell you Van, but then I'd have to send COB to live with you (a fate much worse than death).  It's not legal, and doesn't pay anything, but I do get pirks!

Seriously, I help moderate a site--not a direct competitor with this one.  It's a hunting site, but the traditional board is tiny next to this one--a lot more folks there into wheels and firearms and such than sticks and strings.

COB, gonna' try hard to make it up that way next year (as a participant--think my vendor days are about done).  If I can, I'll be sure to bounce you twice, maybe three times in case I have to miss another one.  Fair enough?

Not at all Bob--I've just been so busy at home I've decided to take a break and enjoy a few tournaments rather than work when I'm there.  I enjoy it, but I figure it doesn't make sense for me to set up as a vendor and get further behind.  I have no intentions at all of closing shop, just going to play a bit more during the summer months.

A bit closer to home--Tannehill (AL), Lost Tribe (TN), Twin Oaks (TN), and a few STA shoots here in MS.  Only took one long trip to shoot this year, and that was to the ATAR (took a road trip for my anniversary, somehow managed to find two tournaments along the way--what are the odds?).

Any chance you can make it to Collierville, TN on the 15th?  Great shoot there at Herb Parson's Lake (Lost Tribe).  Barring no disasters, I'll be there!

Hey Danny--actually I hope it frees me up to hit more tournaments.  Going as a vendor is a lot of work--takes a day or so to get everything loaded, then another day or so to unload and re-arrange when I get back, then rest a bit, then try to catch up on the couple hundred e-mails I got while I was gone.........

Shoot, it's hard to just break even on strings when I travel--just so many a feller can do in a weekend.  Figure if I'm not going to make any money, I might as well play while I'm gone!

Got to get a hunt planned up your way.....man, after the ATAR I can't wait to see that country again!

Now Van don't be that way.  We'd have fun eating Texas chili and beans!  Talk about Chad behind his back.  Maybe even hunt a BIG whitetail.
