I finally ordered one of the "great" Dura gloves I've heard so much about a month or so back...not really impressed. I do like the release that I get with it, but...When I got the glove I could barely get my fingers in it, it was size large, and I've always worn a large in every other glove I've worn. There was also an excess of extra material in the finger tips. So, after turning it inside out and trimming out all that excess material, then turning right side out again (not easy to do BTW), then mink oiling, then just "wearing around" for a day or two, I finally got it loose enough that I thought I could shoot it without losing a finger related to lack of circulation. I do have to say, after all of that, I'm shooting well with it, but I don't like the fact that I had to "finish" a product that I paid that much for. Not to mention that the whole glove just seems kinda "twisted" when you put it on. I know 3Rivers will "stand behind" it, but at my expense, and it's not worth it to me to go through the hassle of shipping back and forth (Seems to me that 3Rivers is getting a little to big for their britches lately...but that's a rant for another day). I've already tried one other manufacturer / supplier and will be trying a couple more before I even think about ordering another Dura Glove / 3Rivers product.

I didn't realize they were being made differently. I haven't tried one on in a long time since the one I use I got from the Grizzly/Wolverine broadhead booth at K-zoo a while back. Guess I better find a place to try the new ones out if the fit is that far off nowadays...

Well, I hope this works out. Thank you all for your comments. I ordered a medium, as this was the size of my other glove. It's tight, but after trying a large, I'd rather be a little small and stretch it out, vs something that is too big. I just hope this glove is what I'm after. I hate it when you have to try these things out and if they don't work, you have to try something else. This can get expensive.

There are a lot of different sized hands and finger diameters. What is good for one person will not fit someone else.  You really have to try it for yourself.
I wouldn't use anything else.
There was a time a while back when 3 rivers stopped selling them, in large at least. I heard they were being made by a different vendor, so I bought the last four I could find.
They last very well for me, and I still have two new ones squirreled away.
I haven't tried the newer ones yet, but am very happy with the ones I have.

I have two. The first I bought about 2 years ago (medium) and I love it. No break in, works good up to my 60 lb recurve. The second I bought as a spare this spring. It was a medium but I could barely get my fingers into it. Shipped it back and bought a large which is a bit big. 3Rivers has a good idea but the new gloves leave something to be desired as far as size goes. The rest is good

Well guys, I have a medium coming to me in the mail hopefully tomorrow. I will let you know if it fits or not. My medium in my October mountain glove is somewhat tight, but I have stretched it out enough that it fits perfectly now. Hopefully I won't have a problem with the Dura glove.
