Hoyt excel riser with black max limbs out the door for $320 brand new... shoots like a million bucks. If you don't want to go classifieds that's a great way to go.

Good that you weren't hurt.  One thing to keep in mind before you buy your next bow is the relationship of your draw length to bow length and design.  If you have a long draw length, you'll need a longer bow and/or one with more deflex reflex.  A long draw really stresses the limbs and riser of shorter bows, leading to increased breakage. I'm sorry to hear about that I own one my self but haven't had a problem yet.I only bought one because it was my first trad bow. Knowing what I know now I wouldn't buy another one. I bought mine over the Internet and when I got it and really looked at it looks like where the front limb glass meets the riser looks like a severe stress point / poor design. That's not a good first impression. Now you got me worried because hunting season is closing fast and I have no back-up. Shot a bear grizzly the other day at cabelas with random arrows and ill fitting nocks and still liked it . I'm sure samick makes good bows but if we want quality we have to pay for it,and I agree my next bow will be American made ,we just do it better and at least if you have a problem the chain of command is a lot shorter.

sorry to hear that about your samick i have a samick horse bow that is an awesome little Bow and touch wood nothing has happened to it. they are a nice little Bow to shoot. but hey look in the for sale on here and for the amount of money ya got ya will get one hell of a Bow.
