Grizzly heads

Has anyone checked to see if you can get head direct from the manufacture before they are ground. That why you could set the bevel the other direction. I would be willing to pay the same price.

I don't have one in hand to look at right now but I think the way the metal layers are put together they can only be beveled one way.  I believe the Abowyer heads are beveled the other way though.

TSHOOTER is right, the way they are laminated trying to put a left bevel on them will not produce the results you're looking for IMO, even if the right bevel is absent.

Good idea but it's already been tried with less than satisfactory results.  A number of other heads could be left single beveled though if you're handy with a file.  I've done it with some Wolverines for example.
