Wood combo question
« on: August 04, 2013, 07:48:00 PM »
I have a 3 piece LB with a marble wood riser and I think myrtle limbs. The riser and limbs were built at different times but go together well enough.  I am thinking of getting new limbs and was wondering what would compliment marble wood?

What bow are you getting new limbs for?

Hey Bill.  Ask Bob....he's got an excellent eye for all that.

Zebra wood would compliment the marblewood. Spalted maple would also. Spiderweb black and white ebony too.

Bisch, I was thinking about getting some new shoes for the Sarrels. My initial thoughts were brown glass with red and white tips to go with the accent stripe. But who knows, it's really close to deer season to part with my primary.
