I agree. You waited way too long to post pics. If my LXR looks anywhere near that nice when I get it, it will be up here the same night   :)

First of all I like the inscription on that bow...we are blessed in so many ways, not the least of which is having such an incredible selection of custom bowyers who price their products considerably below their artistic value...taking a look at Kevin's website you would have paid the basic price of 650 dollars for that bow, plus upcharges for the cocobolo, the stripes in the riser and possibly for the limb corewood meaning that bow could have cost as little as 700 dollars...that is an awful lot of bow for that price...it makes a lot of sense to me to put the "pretty" in the riser and then go with black glass limbs...I wish I had the patience to post some pictures of my LXR...I was at a 3D shoot a while ago and a young lady noticed an interesting pattern in the grain of the bocote limb veneers...to make a long story short I now call it The Bush Baby Bow...that pattern, the large eyes and nose of a bush baby, is repeated no less than 9 times on the limbs and riser of that bow

DDave
I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Very nice! Mine is similar but with quilted sapele limb veneers(yew cores). Your cocobolo is even prettier than mine! What are your limb cores?
