Looks like a nice place!! I'm interested in the price of a hunt as well, looks like I might have some free time early in 2014 to make a trip!

YOU SHOULD PUT AN ADDRESS.  at least a state/county on the website.  I have no idea where this is located without looking up the river you mention...just a thought!  Looks awesome though!

When Ray Hammond ran the hunts the only weapon allowed was a traditional bow. According to Andrew, it will be the same with the new camp.

Fantastic!

N/E of Estill a few miles off SC Hwy 3. The old southern border was near the boat access to the river if you can locate that off the satellite map.

Estill is pronounced by the locals like pedestal. Just take of the ped. I had it wrong as es-STEEL.

I booked my hunt that I won on the contributor drawing for November 21-24. Taking my son along also. Should be a great time. Thanks for the great prize Tradgang!!! Thanks to Ray Hammond for the donation and Andrew Harper at Wild Thing.

Thanks for your patience guys, I'm back from the GLLI and I have some stuff to add to the website today.

I appreciate the fresh eyes looking at what's up there and pointing out where the gaps are.

Thank you all for the great notes and suggestions. Will be adding more info to the website. Estill SC is fifty miles due north of Savannah GA. The hunting camp is twelve miles NW of Estill at Cohen's Bluff Road off of SC Highway 3.  Much work is underway with construction, new fields, plantings, and new roads and stands.  Our normal annual rainfall is about 38 inches. So far this year, we've had over 80 inches!!  The swamp roads have all had three to five feet of water on them until two weeks ago. I have backhoes, bulldozers, and construction crews hard at work to be ready when you are.  The good news is, because of the new plantings and feedings, I'm seeing more hogs and deer than I've seen in years.
See ya,
Andrew

Thank you all for the kind words.  We are trying to fine tune the web site so please pardon any omissions and oversights.
The costs of the hunts are $575 for three day hunts and $950 for five day hunts.  Three day begins with gathering late on Thursdays, supper at the camp, and hunting from Friday AM to midday on Sunday. Five day hunts begin on Tuesday evenings with supper at the camp and hunting from Wednesday AM through Sunday midday.  Estill is in South Carolina, about fifty miles north of Savannah GA. The camp is twelve miles NW of Estill off of SC Highway 3 in Allendale County.  Please write or call  with anymore questions.      Thank you.
