The amount of time and planning he had to have put into taking the pictures is a sure sign of a direct threat against you and your family regardless of him saying otherwise.I know that here in south bama only a true crazy person would do something like that because everyone here knows what would happen to them for threatining peoples wife and children.Things are done a lot different down here than it is up north and even the cops understand that.I posted on a older thread last week and noticed that the whole thing got deleteted. I wondered what or if i had done something wrong but now i think i understand what the reason was.I had no idea there was a big problem going on here. Its sad, i thought we were just one big happy gang for the most part.I hope everything gets worked out and that those in harms way can be at peace again soon.

The surveillance is what disturbs me.

We are hunters - somebody explain why we scout.

What happens next?

Get law enforcement involved as soon as possible!

I would definitely be working on getting a restraining order if it was me and my family.  Sorry that you are having to deal with this.  Good luck.

Different police departments respond to things like this to differing degrees. Here one of the police officers is a trad archer, things would happen very fast.  In larger cites it is important to have all of the facts of the situation laid out in a very easy to see and read format.  Any proof of physical actions will be the strongest.  In a way it is a good thing that you are not a hot head like me.  I have pushed the margins very close when my family members got threatened, at times like that I have no ability to wait and see.  Keep your head cool and show and explain your situation  very clearly to the local police.

Please contact your local Law Enforcement immediately! These types of situations often escalate out of control at the blink of an eye. These guys obviously have little regard for their actions. They must be shown what the consequences will be if the harassment continues. I am sure that your patience far exceeds mine, however, don't let this patience put your wife and kids in jeopardy. These men have crossed a line!!

Thanks for all your support and advice.
Be easier to get a good night's sleep now that plans to counter this Dropbombing have begun to unfold. Waiting for a rock to fly through the window made me a tad restless last night.

Hoping a couple of people will be less interested in threatening or harming my property or family after reading all of your responses.

Report (even with a lawyer)EVERYTHING in writing! 1st one to the authorities has the high ground.  :readit:   The saddest part(other than dragging down   :knothead:  (and if you  don't report the above & then something else happens, the Police will think it just started from there!)  :nono:

Tony, file a formal complaint. If you're hesitant to do so, go down to the local police station for an "informal" chat about the situation. Ask their advice. It's essential that the law be aware of the threats well before any one of these idiots tries to take action.

Patrick - I am waiting for a call from a State's Attorney right now so whatever I do is by the book.

On the lighter side:

A. My wife now checks her make-up and hair before she checks our mail box.
B. I still have a mailbox.
C. My neighbor swings a nice golf club.
D. It doesn't get dark for an hour.

Man, if you can keep your sense of humor in the face of this kind of crap, you sure have a positive, solid outlook on life.

I can't offer any advice that hasn't already been given. Just a post to show support to you and your family and to Terry and all of Administration on this great site.

Every post had an effect - a powerful effect.

Trying to joke about this with my wife, but having a peeping Tom lurking about is not very funny.

Hope his buddies are enjoying her misery - hate to waste it!

this is the tip of the iceberg, ladies and gents. You're getting a rare glimpse into the daily world of Terry and his trusty sidekicks.

You have no idea the garbage- both the people and just plain silly situations- that are dealt with just about every day.

When 35,000 people get together, there's always going to be some playing without a full deck.

I was asked to fill in as gatekeeper a time or two when both Rob and Terry were out of pocket on trips, I believe.

After two times, I'd had enough. Just imagine all the stuff over all these years that's been dealt with???!!!
