Nevada Desert Mule Deer
« on: August 18, 2013, 10:32:00 AM »
Just got back from Hunting Desert Mule deer in Nevada Unit 65. All I can say is WOW. Great Hunt, Beautiful Country. For those of you who have Spot and Stalk Hunted Mule Deer in this Open Country you know what a challenge it is to do with Traditional Archery Equipment. I managed to get within 25 yards of several Big Mule Deer Bucks. These Deer seem to have a second sense when you get that close. They managed to escape every time without presenting a shot. I was hunting a Mountain range just West (I think) of the Ruby's. What a site to see. Next trip to Nevada will be into the Ruby Range. Start saving those points again.

take care and good luck to everyone,

I haven't hunted there but I know first hand how those Muley's can give You the slip. Sure is fun though.
