the count down is on for our Colorado elk hunt!!!!!!

18 days and counting untill myself,Frenchymanny, Zmonster,  Drewsbow and Adirondackmamn leave for our elk hunt in Colorado!!!!!! gathering the last little bit of gear i need by this weekend and can not wait to hit the road with this AWESOME group of brothers!!!!

I think elk is one of, if not the, top animals on my bucket list. I have been several times and just can't seem to seal the deal!

Good Luck! I have to work first five days of the season and then I get five days off without having too use vacation time then hunting for a week straight two weeks later. Started sharpening broadheads last night! Can't wait!

I know EXACTLY how you are feeling! I leave August 31 for Colorado and I am pumped!! Spent the afternoon sharpening broadheads between bouts with the lawnmower and weedeater. Good luck to you!
