Best bow quiver
« on: August 23, 2013, 04:41:00 PM »
Hey guys,
I am looking to buy a quiver for my longbow. I have looked on the web and not sure what I want. My limbs are 11/4 wide
Any suggestions ?

GN Adjustable 5 arrow hands down (for me anyway) tried them all and that one works the best plus it keeps the arrows in a nice tight area.  Plus with a little modification you can kick the arrows back into the bow for a more streamlined setup.

Lots of nice quivers out there and many from our sponsors so it has alot to do with personal preference.

hmm..maybe try the thunder horn or selway..ive heard good things about them but dont use them. i am currently using a kwikee 6 arrow (an older one) on my recurve and am happily pleased with it...could also try their three arrow slip on. just some ideas to start with. 3rivers is a good place to start  ;)

I would be looking at the EFA,super quiet and probably the lightest quiver out there.

I bought an Alaskan strap on quiver, but the arrows kept falling out of the quiver and the straps broke. I am hesitant to buy another strap on.

I'm getting a Kanati Dual ARC as my next quiver. Only ever used slide on Selways and a hip quiver.

Tough choice.

I just got a Thunderhorn Lynx woks well on my recurve.

The Great Northern 5 Arrow Adjustable is a good one.  I would definitely order it with the deeper hood. Longer broadheads are an issue.

I own 3 2 piece bow quivers a Thunderhorn Boa and two Kanati's. I will keep buying Kanati's, they are awesome and the thing I like the most is they are very quiet at the shot! Shawn
