Forget that 'spend a bunch of money' junk. You can find great used wool stuff at the local thrift store. I think I spent $5 on an American Eagle Outfitters 100% lambs wool sweater last year. It goes under my camo stuff but it keeps me really warm for not much cash.

ON A BUDGET: go to military surplus store and buy their polar weight thermals for $20 cant go wrong.
Not on a budget: $60 gets you Under armour cold gear Camo patterns. I got this year and really digging it. Compression fit so not baggy at all. and warm
