Good thread Dave  :wavey:      I looked thru a major hunting catalog a few days ago.  I swear I saw nothing of interest to buy even if money was not a consideration...Van

That being said, I did try deer co-caine once. Only, I didn't inhale.      :smileystooges:

BTW nobody mentioned the game tracker string thing, or the infrared game finder. lol
Hey...I have used the Game Tracker string thingy.  I thought it worked pretty well.  :D   Especially if it's raining hard.

How about a Ghillie suit? They're not hard at all to make, look better the more you use them, and they can be adapted for any woods/field/terrain very easily, cost me $7.00 15 years ago and it's saved me a ton of money in treestands, blinds, and other camo, and put me so close to deer that I could literally reach out and touch them.
Oh, and I bought an electronic deer bleat once, the little ball...... Ever wonder what they did with all those leftover fart machines??... I know!

Hey I love all the gimmiks and gismos! It's just plain fun and cheap entertainment to go to wal-mart and watch the kids of all ages looking through all the new gadgets that someone has come up with to take there money. They give that look like they just feel in love, just before they grab it off the shelf.

A hunting buddy had some kind of plastic shin gaitor he wore in and out of the woods to control/hide his scent.
I told him it was all wrong.

Don't buy those silly little clips for the end of your pull ropes on treestands.

Just make a loop at the end of the line.  Pass the loop between the bowstring and bow limb, then loop it over the tip of the bow.

Camo leatherman?
Camo wallet?
Camo camera?

....and I'm wondering about camo arrow shafts!

My vote is for anything electronic - nobody has mentioned to electronic game calls (especially with the remote).    "[dntthnk]"

I bought the scentless lip balm - it was the cheapest kind!!

How about blunts!, I just use wingnuts behind my field points, works very well and they cost me a nickle apiece, nutters for wooden arrows work well too and are just as inexpensive.....

Easton's camo arrowshafts! Someone was having a real good day when they thought that one up! Good way of selling more arrows to replace the lost ones though!  :D

Never heard of the butt out tool and had to Google it. Can't believe that it is rated as 4.6 out of 5. Who buys this junk?

Maybe I should get one and make it into a key ring. Would be a great conversation piece!
