Geez. Work on "Archer's Paradox" has slowed down some as Karen and I sold our house and moved on to our trawler, Largo, in Florida. Still at it, though, the tales of "Big" Conner who kills his Alaskan hunt partner Marty McMann desperately with an arrow, to have Bullet and Tracer McMann come to Alaska to kill him, but escapes to the Florida swamps and then Puerto Rico's out islands for a final showdown. Here's a snippet:
"Big was in a situation all right.  Parts of Big were going to be cut away soon to save his life, and Nannie Inuit wanted to lock up whatever was left.  Forever.  The whirlybird had brought two bodies in on the same trip, and down in the morgue Marty McMann's bloated corpse was getting almost as much attention as Big was. In Clagath County, no one had ever seen a white man shot with an arrow before.  Or an Indian, for that matter."
Sorry to take so long. :-) - Jay
The how and why of hunting is more important than the what, or the where, or with whom. In hunting - as in life - the joy is in the journey.
