I got back a last night from Utah ( no elk for me) Sorted , cleaned and readied gear for Saturday's opener. Thanks to everyone for their encouragement for this seasons hunt!
Toured my food plots , we had zero rain while I was away. That means we have had only 1 inch since August 2nd! Beans are still green but due to almost zero rain in July as well they have no beans in the tiny pods on the plants. The Brassica's are either brown or so stunted they wont survive much longer. Only up in Apple Alley , does it look like the plants might survive IF we get rain soon.
