Hoyt Excel Riser and Longbow Limbs?
« on: September 01, 2013, 07:43:00 PM »
Has anyone tried this combo? If so, how did it work out? I'm seriously thinking of trying it.

BTW, for the amount of money I don't think a person can beat these Excel risers.

Thanks!

YUP! I've got that setup, makes a sweet smooth shooting 66" longbow. I've got a set of 35lbs TT Glass/Wood limbs and at my draw with the limb bolts cranked all the way down it makes 44lbs on a 21" excel riser. Not gonna lie, it's a real fun setup to shoot  :archer2:

Many Thanks! hedgerowhuntr, definitely sounds like it's worth a try. Those are the same limbs I was considering too.
