Hope arrived in the little town of Vancleave, MS yesterday Friday the 11th.

I quickly unpacked her and inspected her for battle scars she might have received prior to her deployment in the South.

Nothing that needed any immediate medical attention so we strung her up and shot the back yard range.

She is approximately 58# at my draw length of 29+"
and is really smooth, quick and hard hitting!

After adjusting the adjustable noc point that someone had tied on (worked great) to work with my 3 under release I was amazed that it was only 1/4" to 5/16" above square.

I had previously called members of the Frog Relocation Operation Group (F.R.O.G) team to notify them that Hope would be arriving today for her Search and Destroy mission with the team for the remainder of this month.

Kirk

and myself

Would be the only ones able to go on the mission as "SNIPER" Pascagoula Archer would be tied up on more mundane operations such as "work".

Me and Possum Head discussed the possibility of having to cut Sniper loose if this was to continue.

But for now we would enjoy the company of Miss Hope.

The operation would be a night time clandestine at the Pascagoula River WMA and the mission would be of standard fare for the F.R.O.G.team, relocate frogs to our freezers.

Upon arriving at the ops site we took a few minutes acquainting our selves with Hope as the last rays of sunlight settled into darkness.

We entered into the pitch of dark at 2030 and would not see the path to the vehicle till 0001 of the 12th.

Would like to have said I took 9 and Possum 10 shots and we had 19 total frogs but alas it was not to be.

We did get 19 total but had more than 19 shots doing it    :knothead:

It was an extremely fun night with several shot opportunities and the usual crazy night of adventure that only a Southern swamp can give.

Now for some pic's of some of Miss Hopes spoils along with Kirks (Possum Head) recurve.

The F.R.O.G Team met up for another mission last night with the team consisting of "Sniper" Pascagoula Archer and Warren the team Logistic expert, and myself.

The intent was to get Hope into some Hot action, The results were NOT good     :(

I had thought with the recent absenteeism of "Sniper" on some crucial mission that another chance at redeeming one self would be something a warrior would jump at.  But Noooo not Sniper, you would have thought he would make a better showing     :saywhat:

And Warren, Warren wasn't any better in fact I don't think he even cut a frogs hair!

Just to show you the extent of the absolutely worst night in the swamp, I have for evidence exhibit A below...

Well me and Possum Head took Hope out one last time trying to redeem the good reputation of the F.R.O.G team. Whereas the last adventured seemed to almost completely ruin our good name.

With Sniper off his game and Warren not any better,we surely had seen better results.  And to be fair Sniper is a lefty and was somewhat handicapped, shooting Hope, but if anybody could have got it done it would have been him.

I'll post the results from tonight trip later tomorrow after church, although not any of the large frogs the POW's are soaking now on Ice   :bigsmyl:

As soon as my very slow DSL uploads the last video I'm posting the F.R.O.G Teams last trip out with hope.   The video will be a Tribute to Hope and Sarrells Archery if you will allow.

Different members of the team combined for 3 outings to provide enough pictures and some film clips to make a short video.

This is new ground for me and I used my smart phone for all media, so not the highest quality but seemed to come out ok to me.   Let me know what you think once posted, Team Captain and Supreme Leader of the F.R.O.G team out!

Well after 3 day of trying to get this to load and re-doing it several time I've finally got it loaded     :knothead:        :banghead:

The quality doesn't appear to be the same as the movie on my laptop so I'm hoping that it is just the slow connection speed that's making it seem fuzzy.

Well let me know what you think and it has been a blast with Hope!

Click on the link to You Tube and turn the volume up, enjoy.

Well my wife called at work Thursday afternoon and said I had a package from New York.  She said "yes" when I asked if it looked like a big capsule, so I told her it must be the Faith bow.  She had moved the package to the garage for when I got home, but its a better pic on the front steps where the mail man left it.
.

.
I've got her for the month of August and hope to find some shooting with it in the mountains nearby, probably late this week.  In the meantime I'll be stumpin' and target shooting with the bow.

With relatives in town and all that entails I didn't get to shoot it until this afternoon.  A svelte, beautiful little bow, I put enough arrows thru her to know that we'll get along just fine.

Thanks again to the Sarrels and for this opportunity from Admin.
