Congrats Justin.  Glad things worked out for you guys.  Chasing farrow reindeer on the tundra is a daunting task when there is no migration.  

Prudent decision to hunt the higher elevations.  Early season blacktails are like hunting sheep and goat.  You need to hunt from above them as all their predators come from below.  

What air service did you guys end up going with?  Looks like a Cessna 206.

I think this is a perfect hunting post.  Broken up into pics and short stories.  Easy to read and enjoy instead of a long one paragraph monster.  I certainly plan on going back to AK next year.  Thanks for this post and congrats to both of u guys.
