Let's see, go hunting or go to work.  Work is going to lose that one.

You can bet I'll be out there.  I haven't been this enthused since blue tongue came through a few years ago.   Been seeing some whopper bucks this Summer!

Good luck everybody.

I'll be out there too - trying to have the self discipline to stay out of my best stands 'till primetime!

Remember - if you hit one poorly - give me a call.  Oskar the tracking dog is raring to go - there are a couple does that spend the evenings under the neighbor's apple tree 75 yards from the dog pen teasing him....he's ready to sink his teeth into one!  For those who don't know, we provide free blood tracking on an on-call basis.  Just like to help folks find deer and get our dog more work.  We don't find every deer, our recovery rate is right in-line with all the serious dog blood trackers, but IF you hit it fatally and IF tracking conditions are reasonable, there is a VERY good chance we'll find your deer.  Last year was Oskar's 4th year tracking and he has found 35 deer so far.  The best plan is - if you have doubts about your hit back off and call me - we'll talk about it - worst case I can't come for some reason, but we try to take all the calls we get.  Within about 1-2 hour drive of Brazil, Indiana.  My tracking cell is 812 241 2802.

Hoping to find some deer for trad ganger's this year!

Best of luck

R

Actually I get to be in the woods on the 28th for youth season with my son, just no hunting for me until the first. But, God willing, I plan on being in the woods of Orange County on Oct 1. I can hardly wait!

I'll be in the stand for a few hours opening morning. I'll have to work that evening and it makes for a long day, but I don't miss opening day If I can help it.

I should be out there! Lord willing...

I plan to hunt a stand on a funnel on the edge of corn field that morning.

Ryan, I've got your number on speed dial just in case!

Shoot straight everybody!
