I believe that is the same Simmons head I killed 2 Bull Elk with. I call it the Interceptor... more trad, more Jerry. Ha.   ;)    Is that the 165 gn glue on? I mounted 3 of them a few weeks ago and had a pain in the but trying to get each one of them to sit on the steel adapter and spin true. I got them very close but not perfect like my Grizzlies come out when I mount them on adapters.  I also noticed that one blade sits closer to the ferrule then the other judging by the gap between the ferrule and the cut-out of the blade if that makes sense.  I wonder if they are not square to begin with and I hate wondering...chips away at my confidence with the head although I still would like to use them as my primary Elk head.

Did they mount up well for you or did you have to tweak and tweak and tweak and tweak....?

They are the Interceptor Safari's. I haven't had any mounting trouble. They are actually one of the easier mounting heads I have tried.
This stuff ain't no rocket surgery science!

I'm going to be shooting Ace Super Express 175's this year. They're shooting like darts on the end of my 2117s.
Sometimes nothing is a really cool hand.

Shooting 'stuff' is always fun anyway.  If ya can't get out and hunt, the next best thing is to tear something up with Bhead.    :D
