Ready for tomorrow opener
« on: September 13, 2013, 08:04:00 PM »
Over the past couple years my shooting has suffered from my crapy eye sight. Well, I got new glasses and shot a mess of awesome groups practicing today. I'm back in the groove and ready to get out in the morning. Not too many acorns falling, but I know where the productive trees are. Temp is dropping to 45 tonight, and it should be a great morning sit.
My buddy sent me this shot today from the area we will be sitting.

I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

Good luck Jerry!

We have 2 weeks to wait yet, I'm going to the woods in the AM just to get out. We have freeze warnings tonight so it should be nice and frosty in the AM.

My son and me are all ready for tomorrow here in NJ for early season.  First cold night and cool day tomorrow.  This will be my first season with all my homemade trad gear.

Hope everyone has a good season, enjoys the sounds of the woods, the experience of the hunt, and time with friends.
didn't understand - now I do.

Beautiful morning. One Buck, one Doe, and a bear seen. no shots. Acorns were falling in numbers from the breeze. Ah yes, back in the deer woods with the longbow.      :archer:
