For those of you who shoot a dorado, do you shoot off the shelf and if you do what do you use?

Thick heavy duty Velcro is cheap and works well. The soft side of it.

I glued 2 layers of leather together to build out the strike plate. I then glued sealskin on the strike plate and shelf. The arrow now rests just before center instead of way past center.

Velcro for shelf, half a felt furniture pad for strike plate, works like a charm
