Winter Time Shooting
« on: September 15, 2013, 09:07:00 PM »
Another "new guy" question as I enter into my first trad hunting season.  I shoot with a tab right now, however it gets real cold here in Illinois and I plan to just shoot fingers wearing whatever glove I am using to stay warm. What glove to you all prefer for those sub-zero hunts???

I shoot with a tab all the time, because the tab can be worn with a glove. However, here in Georgia, we don't have the winters you guys have, so a fleece glove works well with a tab, especially with a hand warmer in the coat pocket.

I will be interested in hearing what the glove shooters use. Can hand warming winter glove also serve as an archery glove?

I hunt northern Michigan and I just use a jersey glove with my tab over it. But I also like a thick fleece hand warmer pouch for really cold days.
