My ex believed that a couple of pair of panties in the wash with them will remove all the burs.

Apparently there is some sort of bur collecting properties built into them...lol

Anyway I was given the strictest of instructions to be sure none of her underwear were to ever touch any part of my hunting clothing.

Geez, I was just trying to be helpful since she had a pile that appeared to be in the dirty clothes pile plus there was an outside chance some estrogen might transfer to my stuff and help as an attractant for my purposes...lol

I use a cat sized curry comb, the kind that is used to brush cats.  It looks almost like a hacksaw blade that is bent around to form a loop. (the "teeth are not as sharp as a hack saw blade".

Worked great on polar fleece and similar stuff.

Go to Walmart and buy a $3 pumice stone that is used for feet. Works as good as burz off.

I had / have a old fleece jacket that got them small burrs in it once...as you said, I spent every night after hunting and one whole day Sunday picking them out with a fine comb.  My jacket only has 1/2 the nap it used to!

I do NOT wear that jacket anywhere I am unsure if there are cockleburs, buggar burrs (my tech term for them tiny round ones with spikes all around)or them 2 pronged sticky things

Hack saw blade combed over them works on some . depends what kind of burs they are .

I'm with Doc, I have some real nice fleece that I don't wear elk hunting anymore.  Burr magnets. Fleece belongs in a tree stand.
