Number two down
« on: September 19, 2013, 09:52:00 PM »
Hunted some public land this evening. Had this guy come from behind me on my left side. When I drew I had to squat down and when I shot my bottom limb hit the side of my stand. No damage done. Thinking I missed due to the loud noise. The deer ran under me and went about 30 yards and stood there for a few minutes. While it was standing there I was looking my limb over and watching the deer. Then the deer back legs gave out and shortly after it was done. I thought it was a doe ended up being a small spike under 3" in velvet. Considered a antlerless deer.
