Asking my dog.
« on: September 21, 2013, 01:33:00 AM »
Have not been out hunting yotes yet this season.( sept -feb)Went and ask my dog if I should go in the morning. He looked at me and said HECK YES. Their going to be running all over the place. Going to see if this new dog knows what he's talking about as good as my last buddy. Your dog can tell you a lot if you listen.
You can hop but you can't hide.
If it was not for rabbits I would never get a buck.

That's awesome! My dog serves no real purpose at all but my wife says "he's a lover not a hunter". Would of rather had a dog less of a lover and more of a blood trailer...lol

Good luck getting the yotes.
I have a lot of respect for their skill, cunningness, and adaptability. But hate them at the same time as they have taken a couple deer from me when left over night.
I have not yet got good at hunting them but I sure can trap them

My 19 pound Chihuahua tried to run with the Coyotes the other night when one showed up next to the recycling bin I had just put out by the road. We have had the 'Yotes around here for a few years but now they are getting bold showing themselves close to residences. I figure they are hungry for Chihuahua or house cats and whatever they can scrounge up. But yeah I'd say my dog says go 'Yote hunting, the time is right!

I had a guy ask me about some Critter Ripping the Heads off his Ducks and Chickens. Thats all it takes, just the Heads!!     "Chupacabra"  :scared:   was my suggestion, but a Fellow down the street said Yotes are to blame! I know Yotes will eat most Anything, but just the Heads???
I still say its a Chupacabra!!

I asked my dog if I should get a new Hill longbow and she said, "I'm not your dog, I'm Lori's dog, ask her".

Pavan, reminds me of Jerry Clowers story of the hound that Marcel Ledbetter sent to college to learn to talk...

I am going to lean heavy into yotes this year.  I owe them for taking my antelope.....

Shakes,

I've heard that great horned owls will eat the heads off of turkeys.

And here I thought you might be struggling to get a shot on a dog this year like the rest of us! Good luck but don't make the rest of us look so bad this year.   :readit:
