Took the plunge on a Widow...Pics please?
« on: September 24, 2013, 12:18:00 PM »
Black Widow longbow, that is (get your minds out of the gutters  :)

I been wanting a Black Widow longbow for a while now, but finally got into a position to pull the trigger on a custom order.

62" Greybark, with the grey crosscut camo laminations (back and belly), 2-pc takedown, Toby grip, 53#@27, beavertail grip.

Now begins the 8-9 week nail-biting wait.  It's bad enough when I buy a used bow and I gotta wait ONE week to get it...9 weeks is gonna kill me.

In the meantime, would any of you kind folks take pity on a poor soul and post some pics of your BW Longbows?  I'd be grateful enough to drink a beer in your honor  :)

Thanks in advance--

Thanks, Rat!  Those are some classy bows right there.  Love the skins over the bamboo overlays!

Am I right in that you have the Toby grip on both?  How do you like it compared to the standard grip?

Beautiful bows Riverrat 2!   Copperheads blend so well into the fallen, dead leaves... You can't beat the natural camo!
