Strike Plate

I have a Super Kodiak 64in 40lb and notice that my arrows contact the strike plate at the edge nearer the string.Is this a normal condition ,their is no contact any where else along the plate. This is the Bear factory leather plate and rug on the bow.

Is it one of the new ones? Some new ones are are cut as close to center as the were in years past and the result is what you are describing. If you put an arrow on the string and look down at the bow from upper tip down the bow is the arrow aiming far to the left? If so, that is the cause.

Yes this is a 2012 model this looks to be the high point on the riser window looking at it with an arrow knocked is this normal for these bows

I am shooting Carbon Express Heritage 150s 30.5 in 125gr point,I am drawing 29.5 and 46-47 lb at this draw.

I get the same thing and actually have a bit of rounded wear into the strike plate.

I presume you are speaking of the static arrow on bow position ?

For the arrow to touch the entire strike plate the bow must be cut to well beyond center, enough to offset half (or more) the diameter of the arrow being used.

If you are speaking of wear on the plate, many other factors creep in as well.  Some to consider might be: your release; arrow diameter; arrow stiffness (spine); arrow taper (if any);brace height; location of feathers; size and thickness of the strike plate and probably a dozen others.

You don't say how the arrows are flying. I would suggest going up in point weight and see if the arrow flight improves or gets worse. You might be borderline stiff and a heavier point might soften the spine enough to clear the strike plate better.
