My New Arm Guard (for this season, by friend Benjy, of SC)
« on: September 26, 2013, 10:07:00 AM »
These next four pics are of a Custom Arm Guard (I won in a Karma Drawing) made for me by my friend, Benjy of SC. It sports my totem, the bear, as a NA symbol, at my request. He did a fantastic job inside and out - IMO - I hope to hunt with it a time or two, at least, this year.

Inside - BTW it is a separate layer of sueded like leather, very comfortable feel to it.

Here is the Arm Guard on my arm while holding my bow, "Blackie" (taken with my camera in the other hand - LOL).

Here I remembered to turn the flash off, and cut out the highlight.

(BTW - The arrows are not curved/bent - I just forgot to set the camera on close-up so it is the curve of the lens - DUH! LOL)

I remember when you won that, B!  Nice job...and by NA you don't mean North American but Native American, right?

After what you went thru last year, I bet it feels like there was an arrow from one end to the other!

Stay well and shoot straight!

Thanks to all - just had to show it off a little more, Benjy, I love the Native American Symbol of the Bear, and the overall job you did. (I could use a little luck in the hunting field - LOL)

Great armguard Bernie. Benjy's work is always outstanding. He makes some fine Cane arrows and Stone points too.

That he does and has also been most generous in his offers to me (and others I know) of "makings" for cane arrowss, etc. A fine gent to shoot with also. I've never heard anyone say an unkind word about Benjy, but much praise of him. (I've probably embarrassed him now - but he deserves it - LOL)
