Trying to find a 45 pound Wasp wondering if 2016 whith145 grain heads will work off shelf and will my29.5" draw hurt this bow?

My oldest son has a 44 pounder great bow.  I'd normally suggest 1916's but with your longer draw the 2016's should be the ticket.  I think you'll find the Wasp shoots better with an elevated rest though, we have a Bear Weather Rest on his.

They are a nice bow, but the ones I've shot seemed to stack before 28".  I don't know that 29.5 would hurt the bow, but it might be rough on you.

I put  my Wasp that is marked 45# on a scale and it showed around 43# at 28 and 47.5 at 29.5 but I wouldn't pull more than that. I haven't been shooting it so if you're interested let me know.   Norm
