I had a great time and almost had a shot at that dumb 5 point who outsmarted me. what does that make me      :knothead:  I learned from it though and hopefully the next dumb deer gets an arrow through its chest.

Chuck, Thank you for the Hospitality.  I'm telling ya, get Tyler under those white oaks where I saw the 5'er in the afternoon.

Matt Congrats on the Doe!  I knew those arrows were too pretty foir their own good.  Great Job on bloodying them up.  :clapper:

Hedgerow you are correct!!  I had to send the new bow out to get revamped.  Should be back soon so I can get some hunting in with it.

Adam finished off a wounded buck this afternoon , it gave him a good run getting it but he made good on it. Meat was still good and deer was put to rest in the freezer

On 10/01 I moved my game camera off the hill and placed it literally a stones throw from my back door just to see what might be moving near the house (we raise sheep, chickens and turkey).  I have not seen a deer yet on he hill - but this little half fork came by at 7:00PM last Friday (I never reset for DST) about 60 yards from my back door.

Must be genetic.  This was last year's deer.
