Nockturnal nock issue
« on: September 27, 2013, 08:23:00 PM »
I purchased some nockturnal nocks today and tried them out this evening on my arrows, every shot taken with one of these on the arrow went left of aim point. I noticed these fit a little tighter on the string that my other nocks, I still could rotate the string inside the nock without the arrow moving but they seemed tighter. Could this cause the arrows to go to the left?

I had to trim down the one's I had, they were real snug and caused erratic arrow flight

Being tighter and weighing more could, especially if you are on the edge, as far as tuning goes. If you open them up with sand paper, be sure not to shorten the little plunger/switch at the bottom of the groove.
