Someone should call a wildlife biologist
« on: September 30, 2013, 03:31:00 PM »
Because the deer population just decreased.
I fought the rain on Sat and little on Sun and had a nice group come in.  I waited for the mature doe of the group- man she was skittish!  After a while I finally got a good shot opportunity...at  6 yards without getting busted!  OK shot could have been better but at that point I was shaking like a leaf.  Got lungs and she went down w/in a 100 yards

Also have wicked wicks out on a rope that they did all smell- no bucks though.

Congrats! I guess I didn't want it bad enough, got soaked on the way out Saturday morning when the rain moved in earlier than predicted. Finally got everything dried out and was planning to hunt Sunday evening...then car issues. Gonna get back at it in the a.m. though.
