Shot a buck! (fingers crossed/got him!)
« on: October 01, 2013, 09:46:00 PM »
Well guys I'm about to nervous to type this but I shot a pretty good lil 8 point this afternoon.  I'll give the full story later but long story short, I shot him at 10 yards and the bottom tip of my recurve hit my stand.  The shot was still perfect though, right in the crease and about middle way up but I didn't get alot of penetration.  The arrow was sticking out of him as he ran and I was shooting treesharks but I'm pretty sure I heard him crash.  So we are about to head back out and look so yall keep ya fingers crossed for me! Hope I post back on here with some hero pics!

Can't you leave him until morning? If you only got one lung you may bump him.
