Finally got my act together and shot some carbons I bought awhile back. Beman 400's with the added weight in them. I footed them yesterday with an old arrow and, WOW! I was so frustrated with my arrows as of late. I couldn't seem to get good flight. Those carbons nearly went clean through my layered target. Thank goodness for the fletching's or I might have hit the neighbors garage. I put some WW on the tips, shaving sharp, and they are now in the quiver. I just hope a lone deer comes close enough this year. If you haven't tried carbons you should give them a try. Very pleased!
