Let's see those Michigan kills!!!
« on: October 02, 2013, 07:45:00 PM »
I hope to share a pic or 2 this season     , haven't been out yet due to work but I'm heading up to my camp Friday afternoon. I have a couple good spots picked out besides my old reliable places. PLUS, my little bro is trad this year thanks to some awesome fellow TGer's who supplied the goodies through the classifieds.

Good luck to one and all and post up those kills!

Good luck from me as well . I have had only one spike that was just a little to far for a shot . Thought about it but passed it up .

Good luck boys if you get out!  Heading up north tomorrow night for a 3 day hunt...hopefully connecting on an up north doe (or buck...who knows?).

My luck needs to change after I cough cough **missed** cough cough a doe during that early antlerless season...

Good luck to all heading out this fall.  I haven't been out yet or even have a spot picked out, (trying to sell a house and buy another...why i'm doing this now i don't know) but i'm out there in spirt and will be watching this close for the pics.  Be safe and shoot straight!

I'm leaving here shortly myself for a long weekend. Too bad it's supposed to rain the whole time, but it'll still be better than work! Lol. Good luck to everyone. I hope to be posting a pic or two on this thread soon.
Plant a fruit or nut tree today, and have good hunting tomorrow.

Hey Scott, I'm headed up near Hesperia to my camp in a few, I'm hunting 99% ground too.

Good luck guys, hit them woods whenever the rain stops and deer should be moving!

I went out one evening, didn't see anything. Might get out Sunday evening, lots of family comitments. Good luck to you guys that get out, and remember to read the rule changes for this year. There are 12 new counties with antler restrictions in the NW LP.
I'm not a "deer" hunter, I'm a bow hunter that occasionally shoots a deer.

Heading out in the morning. It's been so dang hot, I have kept busy all week catching bluegills.    :bigsmyl:

All I've been able to get out so far has been opening morning. Rained most of today but did a little still hunting behind the house here and saw a few black squirrels but couldn't get a shot off... No deer seen yet.

Wow, wind was wrong, skeeters were TERRIBLE but still got out a few times.  Got busted in one stand (wind was wrong) and immediately left it and gave up for the day.  Seems like I am seeing a lot of grouse.  Are they getting near peak in their cycle ?

Trail camera is showing a lot more coyote activity as well.  Heard a pack sound off two nights in a row relatively near by.
