Let's see your knapped heads

This head was flintknapped by a friend of Jon Stewart's, Doug Alcorn, Jr., who is just 19 years old. He goes by the nic name, "The Kidknapper". Looking at the rock that he made the "point in stone" looks like mookite that is found in Australia.

Whoa, that's gorgeous! Nothing prettier than stone heads.

Thanks to Rick for posting that photo for me. I have a hard time with the computer. I have only seen a hand full of these points knapped like this. It has to be extremely hard. To me it is a thing of beauty and wanted others to appreciate this piece of art work.
